Balancing Screen Time with Green Time

Our ever-present screens are making it more difficult to concentrate. And that’s when the great outdoors comes in! Experiences in nature can be a perfect antidote to the distractions of modern childhood. After a trip to the forest or the beach, the mind seems reinvigorated. Find out more in this easy to read (and short!) research paper from Matt Stevenson, Theresa Schilhab and Peter Bentsen.

London: A Cycling City?
Amsterdam and Copenhagen are known as the cities at the forefront of urban cycling. But other cities are catching up, and London is one of them.

8 80 Cities Concept Touches Down in Tallahassee

The 8 80 Archives

We are very happy to introduce the 8 80 Archives, a curated selection of our past work from the last 10 years. We’ve come so far since we started, but we also want to honour our past.

The 8 80 Archives includes projects on open streets, active transportation, parks, and community engagement. We invite you to browse the projects and hope that they will be useful and fun to explore (as an added bonus you get to see some “vintage” branding and logos).
